We need to teach the youth that they should not fear to fail or make mistakes. Success comes by repeated trials. If you succeed at the first trial, "Praise God!" Giving up in life should not be an option for anybody. There is no gain without pain. Instant gratification is hurting our nation and destroying our moral fabric and that of our education. True education is about exploration. For some, it will take years, for others, it may take months. There is nothing wrong with that. All the fingers are not the same. The important thing is that the person has learned a valuable lesson in life. A life-long lesson!
The link to the video below illustrates the above principle as exhibited by this elk. All but one of about two hundred elks managed to jump a fence at a single trial. This elk kept trying and trying. It was definitely frustrated but did not give up in the midst of this frustration. It kept trying and with each trial, he got closer and closer to find the secret of success. Finally, with one more momentum, it was able to jump the fence to join the other elks. This elk has definitely learned a valuable life lesson which it will never forget the next time it encounters another fence. This also applies to the way we learn learn any subject. Enjoy the video!
